DFS provides turnkey radio telemetry systems for water and wastewater utilities in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. The systems are designed, manufactured, installed, and serviced by DFS factory personnel.

Engineering Integrator
Job Description: System Engineering Integrator, with background in machine electrical controls and repairs, knowledge from both a supervisor/coordinators position and at a technical level. Assignment will be to understand customer’s systems integration and supervise staff member, with overall responsibility, for the planing, integration, and implementation of an updated control system. Candidate will have 10 years experience and, College Degree/Trade Certificates in a related discipline, expert knowledge of electrical integration, specification requirements, machine electrical controls, electrical safety practices, and NEC. Knowledge in AutoCAD, PLC’s control systems, SCADA, and basic electronics required. Experience waivers may be granted to candidates with related College degrees, educational waivers may be granted for experience and a recognized Trade Certificate.
Responsibilities: Engineering Integrator for customers requirements as they pertain for electrical control’s integrations. Write project specifications based on customer requirement and industrial practices for complete control integration. Write technical procedure as they pertain to integration, assembly and testing requirements following industrial electrical practices. Produce electrical and mechanical drawing, as well as other documentation to assemble, integrate and document customer projects. Use company procedures and practices to produce proposal documentation. Provide support to the company installation department, and electrical contractors, in the final installation and integration control products. Expert knowledge to completely understand and integrate company telemetry hardware, software and firmware to meet customer’s requirements. This position requires the ability to be “hands-on” for both integration and troubleshooting, for all phases of a project. As well as other duties that may be assigned.
Geographical area of work: Southeastern US with focus in Florida. Position requires travel to project site.
Compensation and Benefits: Rapidly growing established telemetry company, with national exposure, located in Melbourne Florida. Team atmosphere, with an accent on group accomplishments and goals. Position is hourly with anticipated compensation package range from, $33,600.00 – $50,700.00 depending on experience and education.

Repair Technician
Job Description: To maintain the RA process throughout the DSF Repair and Test Department and support the Technicians with daily activities pertaining to production and repair of DFS modules.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following. Initiate RA repair activity within the Test Department. Maintain files related to engineering changes, revisions and updates. Incorporate all updates to modules returned to DFS for repair or update. Component replacement and board repair as instructed by DFS Technicians / Engineers on new build modules and modules returned by customers for repair. Data logging of all repair activity. Burning of all programmable components needed for kits of new build modules. All tasks deemed necessary by your immediate supervisor
