Antenna Hardware
DFS provides the highest in quality and extremely rugged antennas and coaxial cable with its RTU product. All mounting hardware is made of stainless steel. Connectors are sealed with Alpha sealant shrink tubing. Band-it EVA-coated 316 stainless steel cable ties are used to secure the coax to the tower / mast. All DFS RTUs are protected from electrical surge or transients entering through the coaxial cable by use of the Polyphaser B50LN-C2 coaxial cable surge protector. The RTC series coaxial cable utilizes an inert semi-liquid compound that floods the copper braid to prevent moisture from entering the cable if the outer jacket is cut. |
