Free Training

For two weeks each year (January and July), Data Flow Systems offers an HSS Basic Operations course - free of charge - to its customers. This eight-hour course held at DFS' Melbourne, FL Training Facility is limited to 8 students to ensure that each student gets the most out of the training.

This lecture-based instruction and practical exercise course is intended for personnel who need an introduction or review of the Hyper SCADA Server (HSS) system. Before starting this course, the student should have a general understanding of SCADA operations and possess basic computer skills.

Upon satisfactory completion of this course, trainees will be able to:

  • Perform startup and shutdown of the HSS system.
  • Perform proper login and logout procedures for the HSS system.
  • Navigate through the various user screens.
  • Describe how information is collected and displayed on the screen.
  • Use Trends as a diagnostic tool.
  • Configure alarms for system points.
  • Set delay functions for alarms.
  • Use the Report Selection to query the system for information.

Each student will be awarded a Certificate of Completion at the end of the course.

This course is being offered July 14-18, 2008. Check our website later in the year for January 2009 free training dates.

Dates in blue are available dates. A red X is an indication that the class for that day is full.
