Electrical Controls Technician, Level 2 (THIS POSITION IS REMOTE IN TEXAS)
We are seeking a Electrical Controls Technician, Level 2 to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a background in Machine / Industrial electrical control repair and installation. Looking for a experienced Controls/Instrumentation technician to install and integrate SCADA and telemetry products in the water and waste water industry. Work also includes use of cad software to generate electrical drawings for project submittals (from templates and can train if needed). Ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years experience/education supporting or installing electrical control systems and PLCs and knowledge of electrical theory, machine electrical controls, electrical safety practices. Knowledge in CAD software, PLC control systems, and basic electronics / electricity required.
Geographical area of work – This position is remote in Texas, United States, but ideal for someone located in South Central Texas to support customers located in that area. Position will require travel in a company provided vehicle to perform tasks as required at customer locations.
Responsibilities – Support project managers and customers with implementation of SCADA projects as they pertain to the fabrication, repair, integration and assembly of industrial control panels and DFS systems. Provide support to the Texas Operations Manager in field installations and integration of DFS RTUs through commissioning on site. Produce electrical and mechanical drawings for assembly and submittal review. Test overall project prior to delivery in house and support through commissioning onsite. Use company procedures and practices to produce proposal documentation. Integrate and commission control panels following company policy and per approved project documentation. Thorough knowledge of company’s equipment via DFS-provided training to completely understand and integrate company telemetry system as it pertains to meeting customer’s automation and telemetry requirements. This is a “hands-on” installation / troubleshooting position requiring the ability to understand and repair electrical control systems with customers integrated equipment.
Physical Requirements – Ability to lift 50lbs and climb/work from 35ft antenna towers. Standard driver’s license required with clean record to be insured for company vehicle which is provided. Travel necessary. Background and drug test will be required.
Position is hourly with compensation depending on experience and education.

Technical Trainer
We are seeking a Technical Trainer to become an integral part of our team! You will design and conduct training programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
Responsibilities:
- Implement in-person technical training for customers and employees for a SCADA system supplier
- Present established training materials in class environment.
- Maintain training checklists and records
- Conduct new hire orientation sessions
- Survey trainees for feedback and improvement
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in training, preferably technical in nature to include software and hardware.
- Ability to travel, primarily in Florida to customer sites to conduct training (Vehicle and per diem provided)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
